Having a ranch with absolutely no connectivity, it's great. It wasn't at first. I was always finding a reason to drive into the city so I can check emails and such on my phone but now I couldn't give a shit. My perspective on life and my relationshipds with friends and family increase vastly when I'm away from forums and media. I get no calls, text, emails, internet, or tv. Feels damn good.
Do I regret all the time I've spent on forums? not really. They've inspired me in many ways. Will I continue to spend as much time on the forums? Nope. Only when I'm working in the office. Like others said, My weekends are family time only. either that or tidying up around the house and car.
