Having HQ in USA and products being made in the USA are very different.

Nixon's team-designed, custom-built men's and women's watches and accessories enhance life without sacrificing style. World-class gear for creative independents.

The other one they offer has a nylon inner. My cheaper one will be denim, better than nylon in every way. Plus my leather is made in the USA, higher grade in every way. I do not buy cheap leather to boost a profit margin.

3oz outer with a 1.5oz suede pig split billfold/card slots. This is a rough price, I will do like I did for the belts. Buy supply and make mine first. Then gauge material and time making. Set a margin profit over supplies. I priced out the hides i would need and roughly 3.5 hours to make. I know this is not the place to try and sell a quality product. 500 e30s with JOM coilovers and ESM wheels. That is the majority of my market...

I am catering to people that see a levis wallet at 50 and know this is made better/higher quality of goods.

I'm not trying to state that your wallets are worth less then $70. I'm stating that economically they are priced beyond what I'm willing to pay. You can choose to ignore that Nixon/Billabong are your competitors but they are.

Good luck with your sales, I'm not trying to demean your product in anyway.

Cool that you can make so much with your hands though!
Not really a cater, more of sick and tired of buying garbage stuff that cost so much yet never lasts. And thanks, I have been doing this stuff since I was around 7. Got my first tooling set when I was around 12. Now 26, I have the skills and attention to detail to produce great things.

Does not matter what medium. Wood, metal, leather, pottery whatever. I do it. I think this stuff is a dying art/trade that is being taken over by chinese garbage and big label brands. People will drop thousands on a LV or Gucci product in a heartbeat for a status symbol.

Jump to post#22 for updates on offering after reading this post.

I have a tremendous amount of requests for a wallet. I want to REALLY gauge interest. So I am making this to find out what the majority would like and brainstorm. The FS thread coming in a week or so will have the set price and offerings.

My thoughts are a tri or a bi fold. I personally love a bi to keep cards safe.
I will be making it from a thinner oz leather to allow it to fold(3-4oz).

Same colors I offer right now so you can match it. Suede bill fold and card flaps or a plain leather no frills.

So who wants one? Price would be around50-70(suede) shipped. Levis wallets range from 50ish +tax and shipping. Plus my bifold wallet will stand the cards upright instead of downwards. This keeps the card from breaking.

Also a money/cardholder that is slim.

I have made wallets in the past, I will have no issues providing a gorgeous handcrafted wallet.

One of my belts I offer if anyone missed them:
