      I lifted 19,380 LBS. I'm surprised how much I actually lifted.

        Same here. 6' and 150lbs. Tried eating 7000 calories a day for 2 weeks once. Gave up after I didn't gain a single pound.

          7000 calories? You're either embellishing dramatically, or you have a genuine medical issue (rare) limiting you from putting on weight with that sort of caloric intake. Giving up after only two weeks tells me you weren't taking it very seriously, and likely not consuming as much as you thought either.

          GJ op, if I could get to your lifts in a few years id be pretty pleased.

            Right on dude! The Mrs. came home with a total of 16,050lbs. last night....she almost made me look bad. Total moves to 36,370lbs.

            Leg day is today....this could determine whether or not we move up our goal. Doing some head math I feel like I'm going to blow my chest numbers out of the water.

              Yeah, I was thinking that a million pounds is about a 5 week proposition, but I'm thinking that with legs I'll get about 35k pounds which would speed it up, as well as the fact that more weight will be lifted each time due to strength gain.

                I like this. 6'2" 187lbs, 30 years old. I just want to make sure I am following this correctly. When you say 19,380lbs. You are counting your weight lifted multiplied by your reps multiplied by your sets? If so then what would you count for body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, and dips? What about abs? What about hold your last rep for an extra 10, 15 or 20 seconds?

                So my chest and shoulder day would be:

                3 sets of 15 dips: 187 x 15= 2805 x 3= 8415
                3 sets of 10 dumbbell bench press: 85lbs each dumbbell: 170 x 10=1700 x 3= 5100
                3 sets of 10 cable flys: 70lbs each arm: 140 x 10= 1400 x 3= 4200
                3 sets of 10 push ups: 187 x 10= 1870 x 3= 5610
                3 sets of 10 dumbbell shoulder press: 60lbs each arm: 120 x 10= 1200 x 3= 3600
                3 sets of 10 smith machine overhead shoulder press: 115 x10= 1150 x 3= 3450
                3 sets of 10 shrugs: 135lbs each arm: 270 x 10= 2700 x 3= 8100
                3 sets of 10 leverage incline chest press: 230 x 10=2300 x 3= 6900

                8415 + 5100 + 4200 + 5610 + 3600 + 3450 + 8100 + 6900= 45,375?

                That can't be right. Can you break it down so I can figure out how I can follow this? Thumbs up on the wife.

                  Thats how I calculated it. Pushups seem like a gray area because it's not total weight of your body your pressing, so I'm not sure how we'd do that.

                  I just realized I never double my dumbbell weight........holy crap haha. oh well it'll be higher next week.

                      There are a few other things I didn't count because I didn't know how.

                        Here is yesterdays workout:

                        Snatch
                        5x45x5 = 1125
                        88x3 = 264

                        Clean + Jerk
                        88x5=440
                        98x5=490
                        133x5=665
                        155x2=310

                        Squat
                        135x5 = 675
                        185x5 = 925
                        225x3 = 675
                        245x1 = 245
                        255x1 = 255

                        Pull Ups
                        1x10 @ 175lbs = 1750
                        1x5 @ 175lbs = 875

                        Total = 8,694
                        Seems weak. I guess I am doing the most complicated lifts possible though..

                          Million Pound Challenge **Weightlifting**

                          Ahhh.. What the heck, why not

                          Cardio:
                          25 Mins

                          Bench Press:
                          135 x 10 = 1350
                          155 x 10 = 1550
                          45 x 25 = 1125
                          65 x 15 = 975
                          135 x 10 = 1350

                          I then preceded to push out a massive 5 pound dump; not sure if that should count or not, but I'll include it anyway

                          Dump:
                          5-pounder variety x 1 = 5

                          Total to date (starting 9/10):
                          6355

                          We're supposed to hit 1000000 within 30 days correct?

                            make sure you post pics, and if results are good i would be interested in hearing your routine and diet.

                            im really young (21) and in the last four or five years i went from a skeletor 5'10" weighing 125lbs to now, same height 5'10" but i weigh 165. im very active but the pounds really packed around my mid body, gave me a bit of a belly and a booty.
                            ive been getting to the gym when i can but thats not all the time, my main focus is trying to better my diet and doing more abdominal workouts.

                            hope this goes well for you OP!

                                make sure you post pics, and if results are good i would be interested in hearing your routine and diet.

                                im really young (21) and in the last four or five years i went from a skeletor 5'10" weighing 125lbs to now, same height 5'10" but i weigh 165. im very active but the pounds really packed around my mid body, gave me a bit of a belly and a booty.
                                ive been getting to the gym when i can but thats not all the time, my main focus is trying to better my diet and doing more abdominal workouts.

                                hope this goes well for you OP!
                                Dude, just set a goal and start taking steps in the right direct. My wife and I decided on this and use Visalus to give us a good balanced healthy diet. If you want some more info or suggestions shoot me a PM.
