I totally agree....When I was powerlifting I was big.....but you know, I just get sick of maintaining size....it's overrated and I'm not into body building. I've dropped weight, upped reps and I feel stronger, and for me that's more realistic and usable then just "being big".

goodluck. I started doing my heavy weight and low reps from 6 months off and I'm getting bigger muscle wise but I don't like it. I like strength, not size.
1 guy at the gym is following my advice and he gained 10 pounds last month so we will see.

I got close. School was a lot...and still is a lot to deal with. My wife is now training for a physique competition so I train with here a few times a week.....getting thinner that's for sure hahaha. Hard to stay fat when there in no junk food in the house.

    What you see there.....I fizzled......

But I have been consistent in the gym since then minus that last couple of days.....get crazy sick. I have changed up my routine a lot. Had a very good buddy who's a body builder get on me a bit in the gym. I was doing legs and he happened to be lifting in the gym at the same time. I had finished squats and was on the sled. I slapped a bunch of plates on and repped it for 8.....when I stood up he looked at me as said...."so are you power lifting again?" I replied NO, and he then followed with, well stop lifting like one. Needless to say my weight has gone down and my reps have gone up along with other things and I have never been so sore in my life. Things are growing though, damn shifts aren't fitting on my back correctly.

I might try this challenge again in a bit, but my main focus won't be a million pounds, it'll be to lift correctly for what best suits me and let the million pounds be a result of that.

Finally managed to rep out with 225 on my squats. I know it's not a lot, but it felt good to get two plates on the bar for a movement other than deads. Here's to 305 by summer

I'm most likely going to start this over, I need to complete it. I'm going to get back on my 5/3/1 routine as well. I saw amazing progress when I used that last winter.
