When at my office I am usually spending 25% of the time pushing paperwork, 25% BSing with random people 25% online doing who knows what and the other 25% is a mixed bag usually working around between my buildings making sure whats going on. but I am only here about 50% of the time the rest I am office driving to or visiting a customer, taking the to lunches checking models etc. If I had to sit here 40+ a week I would go nuts in about 3 days.

Man, I hope some of you guys aren't posting this from your work account. lol

I do spend some time on here but generally I'm too busy to waste an entire day online. Plus I'd never get anything done and I actually do have responsibilities. :p

I do, however, have the benefit of showing up when I want and leaving when I want.. taking lunch when I want.. and working on what I want to.

I have a training session to prepare for in 3 hours though so I'd better get to work. ;)

I've been doing it for a year now and I've had nothing but fun since I started and time has FLOWN by.
do you work in a fab shop?

i couldn't do a desk job. i don't have the makeup for it. i really have to admire those of you that do and actually enjoy it. i have had a few jobs of this sort when i was in school. at least i could look at them with the thought that it was something temporary. for me, they were always motivation to better myself and get off my ass to find something better.

This is what I want. This is what makes it easy to be a grown up.

I used to love my job until I found out how evil it is. The scenery was amazing at first but now Idk. I absolutely hate my job because I know what I do is helping an evil corporation. I'm actively seeking something else though

Would love a little more privacy. Especially since these thing blocks ALL streaming media so no tunes for me.

The phone repeater goes down like twice a week so it kills my netflix during lunch habit.
Use a proxy website or modify your browser settings to use a proxy IP.

We're locked down also but I'm in IT so they gave me enough rope to hang myself by. The only thing blocked at my level is porn. Now the userbase on the other hand....they get only about 25 websites to use, all business related.

    My daily routine:

    Wake up late
Get to work 10-20 mins late
Get breakfast and spend 30 mins doing that
Listen to Spotify premium in one ear
Work on emails from yesterday evening
R3V for hours about projects I dream of getting to
Look up parts I won't buy for months
    MediaTakeOut.com for laughs and nonsense
    Lunch for an hour
tumblr - try to look at shyte that will get me fired
    More R3V
cruise ebay & craigslist for parts and random crap
once the below is checked off, I'll get to some work flow from today

Hopefully one day I'll be able to work from home and do this all in my boxers.
