This, wow. I don't understand. How the fuck do people get behind the wheel of a vehicle (bikes included) and not comprehend the consequences of their actions. You can kill and be killed in these things. Brake checking an SUV when you're on a bike, no matter what happened prior is fucking stupid. However, whenever I see guys doing really stupid shit, I think, "Good, we do need more organ donors."

You only need the diff lock for Harleys, sport bike don't need it on. They also spray hot steam on them as you run them over but that option was discontinued in 2002.

I couldn't see any initial attack since its out of range of the camera but if they slashed his tires after impacting the first bike...would he be able to drive 60 odd blocks at high speed after the fact? Could it be he just got nervous and overreacted? I didn't see any aggression from bikers until he decided to ram them. As for the first biker, he did seem to pull in front of the RR and slowed down and broke at the end although I can't see any brake lights. Ramming the bikers for the second time and running off...just made matters worse. I'm not surprised at how it ended at all.

How the eff do you guys figure the bikers were at fault? Do we know the full story?
Looked like the Range Rover hit the initial biker from behind. Doesn't matter if the biker broke. The guy in front has the right of way... But you have to wonder what started that.
Then the driver probably panicked and stupidly decided to plow through their crew. Bad move.
The bikers did the right thing by tracking the guy down because that was a hit and run but they should have NEVER beat his window in and caused anymore danger on the road (hopefully that's as far as it went). Both parties should have called the police.
Anyway, I hate NYC for stupid shit like this. Bunch of hurt boys playing up to ego. Idiots.

I made the same statement on a FB thread but that's only speculation. In the beginning of the video you can see that biker turning his head in the direction of the Rover as if he was yelling to him before going in front and slowing down/brake checking whatever you want to call it. This makes me believe there was more to it.

Worst thing he did was get off the highway. They cannot do shit to him at 25+ mph. Allowing the Mob to be on foot is where things went wrong. Even if he cut them off somehow before the video they were dumb to mob a Rover.

If I had a family I would do anything to protect them. That includes running over thugs on sport bikes with half helmets(fucking gay).
Should have stayed on the highway went over 80mph and bumped anyone that thought to get beside me. Let's see how two wheels does against 4 with 3 ton coming at them.

I have been stuck in biker rallies before, I move over into the slow lane and put my hazards on to let them by. Then again this is upstate NY and I doubt this would happen here.

Biker At Start Of Terrifying Range Rover Attack Arrested

Cruz got hit by the Range Rover for this brake check and was later hospitalized and released for minor injuries, reports the New York Post.

So there was a brake check, but why? I have a hard time believing a father with wife and kid would do anything intentional when surrounded by bikers. The fact that they swarmed around like that is terrifying enough.

Also, how does a guy on a bike think brake checking a 4600lb SUV is going to end? That was just plain stupid.
