    Wow, a little late...

I just got a letter in the mail from Geico asking me for more information about an "accident" I was in almost two years ago. According to them, a "recent motor vehicle report submitted to us" said I was in an accident on April 10, 2004. That was my deer incident with my old 318is, if anyone remembers.

Basically it's asking me what happened and if I got a ticket. No ticket, so I guess I just tell 'em I hit a deer. No insurance claims, no nothing. Think this will make my premium go up?

I don't quite fancy paying more than my current cheap premium ($400/yr), but whatever.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

How do you pay $400/year?? Mine is about 8x that.

Oh, and IDK.. an accident is an accident and I believe that people who have been through accidents are actually less accident-prone. Chances are though, they only care about your incident for one reason: to profit.

      Pick one:

      A) You're a shitty driver
      B) You're Asian
      C) You have a lot of speeding tickets
      D) You live in a bad neighborhood
      E) You're a 16 or 17 year old kid

I pay a little over 3x that. I am 18 years old with a '91 BMW. Not with Geico. I have been in one accident, and 1 ticket on my record. $400/yr would be AWESOME!

        Will

I just paid Geico 295.00 for the next year. Full coverage with a 500.00 deductible. I guess being old has some benefits.

          :)

someone sent me a shipping confirmation from an ebay item I bought over 2 years ago. They said they just left me feedback and wanted me to do the same. Too bad I already did it.

i pay about 2500cdn a year for PLPD now i did have an accident where the shifted a bumper on a new GM truck, didn't dent it or scratch the chrome, but the bumper shifted down, told him i would fix it in 20 minutes if he brought it back to my fathers shop, he said no. put it threw insurnace the ass fuck, probably cost 20 bucks to fix it, but i'm paying out the ass for the next 2-4 years......
