Looking for a new Android phone

Time to upgrade the Samsung SII I've been rocking for about 2 years. I have Sprint so I know that make s bit of difference on the phones I can get. I'm not a super tech but I can appreciate a quality piece of a equipment. What would you guys recommend and why? I've been looking into the:
    1. LG G2
    2. Samsung Galaxy Mega
    3. Samsung Galaxy S4

I like the G2 and Mega because they have crazy long battery life (17+hrs)

Give it to me phone junkies!

I would take the S2 over any of those phones. Why are you "upgrading"?

The s2 is two years old, I don't even think you can buy it anymore. The new ones are the s3 and s4 and mega.

The S2 is very obsolete. Definitely not worth upgrading to.

The S4 is nice but I think the G2 is the better piece of kit. IIRC it shares internals with the N5.

I know that the processor in the G2 blows the other away. 2.26GHz quad core processor. I think the other samsungs are also quadcore but only a 1.7ghz processor.

I have an S3 and I wouldn't hesistate to pick up another Galaxy. Unless you're doing super hardcore stuff I don't think you're going to hit the limits of the processors. I don't hit any hiccups with my S3.

I do like my Galaxy even though its old. My sister has the s3 and it's WAY faster then mine. From a cost standpoint the G2, S4 and Mega Galaxy are the same price so I'm weighing my other options. The plus on the G2 is it has a 13 mega pixel camera compared to the 8 on the galaxy phones. I don't carry a camera around so it would be better quality pictures of my build for the r3v community ;)

LG G2 is only phone on the market that is set up for the new 4gLTA network that is coming out, only phone with a faster processor is the Samsung Note3.

I currently own an S2. Running JellyBean 4.2, so it is hardly "obsolete". My phone can do everything an S3/4 can, it's just a bit slower and doesn't support LTE.

My biggest problem with a lot of current smart phones is no external SD card slot. What memory comes with the phone is all you get. This also sucks as if anything happens to the phone, everything on it is lost.

fwiw the camera on my S3 is rather lack luster for what I was expecting. I would look into the picture quality of each phone and go from there.

I would also say LG G2 as currently it has the best of all hardware. Most of the annoying software bits can be disabled or changed. CleanRom fixes the bloatware problem and flash the camera fixes and IMO the phone is just dandy.Currently I am running the latest Cyanogen nightly but am going to go back to CleanRom (stock just debloated) as it is still IMO the best solution. I generally get just under 2 days on the battery for my usage.

Motorola Moto X. It is an excellent phone, super long battery life (21+ hours), some neat features, and made in Texas if that matters to you.
