What does R3v think about the Fiat 500 Abarth?

This little guy has impressed me. It makes me lol when tooling around the dealership every time I get in it. I like the simplicity of the car, no start button, no crazy buttons for simple functions, no navigation screen, and no girth. It fits me just fine and I think they sound amazing. I think Ive been wanting something newer to commute in and the Abarth seems like a fun alternative.

Anybody have any other experience with them...or even own one.

BTW, I am aware it is not an e30, so thank you for your insight.:?

I like it, I was at a meet and a guy drove by in a modded one, it sounded fucking nuts, I don't think I would buy one but I approve

I have known about the Abarth for a while but at our C&C, some of the porsche guys dd this and one brought one out. Ever since then, ive been doing the research on them. Comments like Lorins are what negative reviews i have read...for the most part. Sure, it could be faster, sit lower, rwd, and etc but thats not what the car is about.

The only mod I would prolly do is lower it a bit.

Serious side. My materials Professor was/is a project manager for Abarth, his baby was the essesse prototype. We got to drive it around the Torino back roads a bit, was tons of fun. Maybe that's not a direct review of the US-spec Abarth, but I'd pick one up in a heart beat.

I'd probably spend my $22,095 elsewhere. At least its not a Smart car?
