I have no probelm with the fwd thing. Most small euro cars are/always were fwd, so who really cares.

I just think it's a waste of $ for what your getting, consideirng the NA roads. if I lived in europe with small roads and higher gas prices, I could see the appeal. Here in NA, not so much

I've never driven one, but from what I know about them, it seems like they would be a fun car to drive. Small, tossable and quick maneuvering. Yeah, FWD sucks, but for what the car would be used for, who cares?

And why is everyone saying that it's size is a bad thing? I mean, I guess if you got into an accident with two semi trucks it could end badly, but how often does that happen really? Small = good IMO. That's one reason why e30's are good, right?

I will jump on the at least its not a smart car band wagon. Its a small car, is it good at being a small car yeah. If you want or think you need a small car then have at it, I think I would put my 23k else where into something that is a little more my speed, and BIGGER, but thats me

Its your money you spend it on what you want, but this is in boarder line hair dressers car territory here..............................Oh fuck who am I kidding this is a hair dressers car!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhg, why'd you have to bust out the logic stick so early?

NO it has to be rear wheel drive. Only E30s are good car.

Everybody keeps saying this, but you do realize the amount of horsepower we're talking about here... unless you're looking for some dorifto action, this thing is pretty decent, and it does rotate well. As a small, fun car on the street, the FWD barely makes a difference. I'm as big a proponent of RWD as any of you and I still thought it was pretty darn good.

Never driven one, love the way they look and they sound incredible. FWD doesn't bother me.

I could not fit in one. Not enough head clearance for me, I do like the look of the Abarth.

I was driving down the 101 and heard this throaty exhaust and it was a fucking abarth. It sort of blew me away but that alone doesn't sell teh car. I thought they were like 16,000 dollars and assumed rear wheel drive. Since they are 23,000 like someone said that would turn me off right there. The fwd doesn't help either but again, liek someone said that isnt what they are all about.

No thanks would rather find a Golf TDi if I was looking for a newer fwd car. They are neat looking just impractical as the back seat is smaller than my 318Ti's.
