How would a government that allegedly can't even clean up a hurricane area be able to string together such a tight conspiracy such as this? Where's the motive, where's the gain? Why would a government send its economy into a nose dive? You want to try and tie this to Iraq? Bullshit, this had nothing to do with Iraq.

Here's a newsflash: We were going into Iraq no matter what. Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of the Reagan-era Neo-cons have been wanting to finish off the job in Iraq since 1991. Most of those in that camp were dismayed that we pulled out as quickly as we did.

I don't see any hard evidence of any "shadowman" conspiracy or any other nonsense. You don't either, as you can't produce a single bit of hard fact.

9/11 gave Bush a reason to go to war. To this day he is trying to say that there were connections between Bin Laden and Saddam. Do you know how much money certain companies made from 9/11 and the war? Dick Cheney's company Halliburton has made 10 billion dollars, his stock has gone up over 3,000%!!! 9/11 was the best thing that ever happened to Bush and his cronies. He was able to divert billions of tax payer dollars into the pockets of his buddies. That is why 9/11 happened.

This can be taken so many ways. I would have assumed that people would have some common sense. The guy says two vague words that can be taken so many ways, and it dismisses all other logical much more possible theories? C'mon guy.

        Right. I remember that...

        Read about it here.

        Now the official story.

Even here they assume the reader is a moron by suggesting the steel was melted by aviation fuel. They also say that a storage facility underneath WTC7 used to store generator fuel for ConEd backup generators, located under WTC7 could've ruptured and burned as a result of damage from the collapse of WTC1 & 2, causing the collapse of WTC7. The fuel ConEd uses is diesel. You can throw a match into a bucket of diesel all day long and it will not ignite. It is nearly impossible to ignite accidentally. The government even states that "The fuel from these tanks could have contributed to the intense heat that apparently weakened the supporting columns in WTC 7". Here we go again. Diesel burns at only about 600F. Still nowhere hot enough to burn steel. Calling BS on that one...

There are certainly some "conspiracy theory nutjobs" out there with some crazy ideas...but I think the truth falls somewhere between "it was Al Qaeda acting alone" and "it's all a government plot". Clearly our government has a long history of not exactly being forthright with its citizens. I just want my questions answered without having to temporarily suspend the laws of physics.

I somehow doubt 9/11 is the best thing to ever happen to anyone.

Like Charlie mentioned, we were undoubtly going into the middle east at some point.

Oh trust me I think this administration is the worst in history by far, but this is just too much. Its laughable. This fuckig idiot (BUSH)couldnt have thought this up. This is worse and more difficult than the possible JFK cover up.

Even if that did occur, which it didn't, you're suggesting that a property owner telling a fire/recovery crew to knock down a damaged building is somehow indicitave of a conspiracy?

                Put your bong down.

                -Charlie
You must have missed that part then. Do you know how much work it takes to demolish a building? You cant just go in, plant some explosives and then press a button, it takes months to plant explosives strategically. There was obviously some pre-conceived plan to bring the building down. Not to mention the owner got almost 900 billion from insurance.

No more techless bullshit, give me proof.

Do you even know what Halliburton does? They are the largest oil fire recovery company in the world. They are the only company in that industry that is able to operate on the scale needed with the damage caused in Iraq and the surrounding areas. The fact that they got the contracts to clean it up isn't a matter of buddy-buddy b2b deals, but of simple necessity.

No one else *could* do a job of the scale required.

So wait, did the government plan Pearl Harbor as well? so that we could join in WWII?

Did we secretly ask the Japanese to come bomb us?

I think we all need to shut the fuck up on this one. No ones getting anywhere. But healthy disagreements are the beauty of this country, I suppose. :)

It is actually well known that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor prior to it happening. However, World War 2 was one of the best things to happen to this country. Putting aside the massive loss of life, it created countless jobs and brought this country out of the worst economic crisis in it's history. We also came out of it as one of the worlds super powers. 9/11 and the Iraq war have done none of this. Our economy is in shambles and the whole world hates us.

There are plenty of companies that could do the jobs required but none of them were even allowed to bid, every contract was automatically given to Halliburton.

                            Really, like who?

Halliburton is the largest by far, and the only one capable of the job at hand.

As for your WW2 rant, we already debunked that. Try graduating to your sophomore year of HS before you play with the big boys kiddo.
