    Who has a pit? (Dog)

My mother and I do a lot of rescuing for pits. Curious to see if anyone shares the same love. We have a 90 lb brindle pit named Max and I adopted an 8 month old deaf white pup named Mable. We pulled her from a kill shelter in Georgia. Not 100% of her genes, we're thinking pit/American bulldog.

        Post pics!

Shangsta hit me up when you want to rescue. My mother has an extremely long reach. Awesome to hear you want to rescue. There's a lot of them almost everyday that only have a few days to live if they can't find homes. So like I said if/when you want to rescue let me know, unless you have someone else that does what we do that can do the same.

Haha. I've noticed our dogs like to bury their heads in your arms or do stuff like yours.

this is oscar. he is a little under 3 years old i think. about 2 years ago, i found him roving around the neighborhood. he had no collar and was skinny as a rail. about 15-20lbs underweight. (he now weighs about 45lbs) my intention was to just rescue him, nurse back to health and find a good home. turns out he was such a good dog (and we developed such a strong bond), i couldn't get rid of him. my wife isn't an animal lover, so it caused some friction initially. we have learned to make it work though. she knows how important that dog is to me. he is a sweet boy, eager to please, and does what i ask. i never use a leash on him unless we are in a public place such as home depot or petco. he pretty much goes with me everywhere i go(except when i go to work) unless its balls ass hot in the texas summer. he never barks. he loves to just chill in the truck or the e30 when i go in someplace. i feel blessed to have him and i think the feeling is mutual. generally everyone that comes into contact with him loves him.
