    Smoking in movies

    Has anyone else noticed a sharp increase in actors smoking (cigaretts or weed) in movies since the mid 2000's?

    i recall watching movies in the late 90's and early 00's where smoking by any one of the actors was at a minimum. Actually, there was a huge rally against it in TV and movies

    Now it seems as though the tobacco companies are coming out in full force again. Anyone else notice this?
    If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

                BUT,

                Yes Stan, I have noticed. but I would further that by saying Alcohol and other drug use has been featured more as well, the REAL issue imho is the age of the characters using the substances...younger and younger...check out an episode of Hemlock Grove or other series directed at youth...

                Yikes...I smell a conspiracy....


                Also, I find that you have in fact sharply increased your mindless posts of late.

                  can't say I've noticed this, nor have I heard of Hemlock Grove. interesting....guess it's just a sign of the times I suppose
