So, I just got engaged. Holy shit, it has been a surprisingly stressful few couple weeks: asking her father for permission, getting ring fitted, and actually doing the damn thing. At least it's now her turn, I'm not doing much of shit for the rest of this planning BS. Just making sure she doesn't randomly develop a terrible taste in colors. Yes, I am aware 80% of you are still finishing puberty, but I don't care.

Congrats! My friends are slowly pairing off for life but they really seem to be enjoying themselves. Their wives/fiancé/girlfriends are all pretty chill and not pushy. Makes a huge difference.

Thanks guys! She's awesome, has come to watch me race the e30, and when I mentioned that I probably wasn't going to have that much time to commit to it coming up was upset and told me I needed to keep racing. She also loves good beer, which is always a good sign.
