How do you even study or sit down and do homework? When I get home, I'm just so over school work. I'm usually not lazy about other things, like working out or whatever. But I just never have motivation to do homework. I have college next semester and I feel like I am going to bent over.

Do you have to take differential equations? I loved that class.
+++1 for both these websites. Helped me get through all three calcs, Diff Eq's, and Lin Alg. Definitely helpful!

Also Youtube has MIT lectures and practice videos. Their website also has the same videos that are helpful. If you can solve MIT math problems, you can handle any teacher. Good luck!

Kahn Academy (like most people have posted ) pulled me through calc I II and III and i'm not the strongest naturally with non-applied math (ironic for an engineering major...)

Also did a shitton of textbook problems. Like, do all of them.

my mathlab is shit imo. That is what our course uses as our "book" and we do our homework through mymathlab too. I use khan to help me understand calc

So today, I was looking into the class schedueles for next quarter.
It looks like this class will be offered again, but with a WAY better prof - who I've actually had before :D
                AND..it won't be at 8am like this quarter :D

So right now, I'm leaning towards withdrawing, and enjoying the fuck out of the rest of the quarter, focusing on my econ/business classes.

The main reason behind this thinking is this:
-My major GPA which is pretty good atm will be fucked, even if I pass the class this time.
-The second and only other midterm for this class will be given on the SAME day which is also the deadline for dropping the class without an F.

What do you guys think? It's sooo tempting to withdraw rn, especially since my other classes' grades are super peezy.

Hahaha that's always how it is!!

I'm taking my tests for the NMLS exam and this is exactly what they do. Practice questions were easy and worded simple and the test questions are wayyy harder

I don't think it's a waste of money. I took more classes than normal last quarter, so I'm right on it when it comes to the year's unit projections.

Also like I said before, with the bad situation I'm in, it's pretty much a 50/50 death if I don't do as well on the second midterm.

To make matters worse, the second midterm is on the same day that's the deadline for dropping without receiving an "F", should I not do as well then.

It's the risk that I am trying to assess.

I would stay in it and retain as much as you can, then if you take it again it will come much easier. Even if you fail.

I never even took my book out of packaging I should have never bought it. Mymathlab shows you how to work problems out. Step by step and sometimes with video. I understood it pretty well from that

Plan is to hang around for a bit, soak it in as much as possible, and take it next quarter - and enrolling in the popular student-tutoring workshops which the university has, from the beginning of the quarter.

Amen. My major GPA & transcript are pretty good, so I don't wanna risk fuckin it all up if I fail this quarter.
