I spent about 800 as well 6 months ago and it was a great decision. I play a few games here and there, and they run really smooth. (50 fps on high graphics BF4)

Its amazing what you can get with 800 bucks when you build the machine yourself and price out the specifics.

Corsair CX 600 watt power supply.

AMD Athlon 760k 3.8ghz processor.

MSI r7 260x 2gb graphics card.

2 8gb sticks of crucial ballistix ram.

1tb western digital blue caviar HD

Burner/ drive

Wifi n900


And the Rosewill line m case to throw it all in.

Also what resolution are u playing on I use a 1366x768 monitor and I can play BF4 on ultra maxed out but go to 1080 and it drops big time

Viewsonic makes good panels, but i ended up with a vs23h asus ips panel. Got a better deal on it, and was just as good at the time. 23in screen was big when i got it, but now it seems small as I slowly go blind lol.
