8 laps in with the Volvo:

    2:09.095

It's about as sporty as I expected a Volvo to be...

Such an awesome challenge this week; unfortunately I have been busy getting ready for a car show all week and will likely not have any time to do more. Here was a few laps in my 190E thats not really tuned for this. UGHHH wish I had more time.

Hopefully that's not the case, but either way I definitely vote for the "multiple race series" concept with these cars! I'll stick with the Lolvo for consistency's sake.

Saw the thread on bfc and decided to break out my 190.

Ran a bunch of laps last night, but my driving was garbage.

Hmm, might need to try something a bit quicker than the Volvo. We shall see next time I have a chance to try.

Ditched the Volvo for the super-cool Cossie, although I think I might try turning down the lock on the Volvo's limited slip...

                        2:07.671

I shotty the Cosworth for the DTM series if we do it though, it's a million times more responsive.

Wow, that helped the Volvo a lot. This is five laps in:

                          2:08.149
I cringe to say it, but it could potentially be faster than the Ford...

Edit: I was just thinking...you think we could ever line up an online race at some point, just for fun? Separate from these challenges, although we could use the cars from them of course.

I have no idea how you're in the 2:07's, I can barely shave tenths off...

I am completely down with doing a series, just need to come up with a points system and figure out what other tracks. Hockenheim full next? Maybe the full nordschleife as a season ender?

As far as points go, we could go backwards from 10 (1st-10, 2nd-9, etc) F1 style whatever that is nowadays, or a percentage system based on your time for each event compared to everyone else? 1st would get 100, then everything below would be a corresponding percentage based on how close you were to first. Completely open to ideas, let's hear what you guys have!

I like it! I would vote points, it sounds a lot simpler. 10-0 sounds good, that way we have space for 10 competitors (which should be more than enough space... :( ).

If you want, PM me your setup and I'll see if I can help!

In other news, they apparently have wi-fi at VIR? Who knew?
