    Metal Gear Solid 5

Picked up Ground Zero today. It's amazing how different this game is to the first 3, and even the 4th. Much harder with a much bigger focus on stealth. I've already died like 8 times lol

I've wanted to, but I'm a cheap bastard, so I'm waiting until it gets cheaper.

In the meantime, I'm trying to pick up the legacy collection to have all the old stuff work right on the ps3, but cars/house come first.

I have the MGS2/3 HD edition, now I need to pick up Peace Walker. Revengeance looks bad ass too. I played the demo and it was sexy.

This is the extent of my Metal Gear experience, fuck if it wasn't way ahead of it's time. By far my favorite NES game, my brother and I spent hours trying to map out stuff and master it.

Yes! I got this game at a pawn shop for $6 back in the day. It was definitely ahead of its time. When Metal Gear Solid came out for the original PlayStation, that made me a huge fan. To this day, that is the best PlayStation game ever made.

In case anyone may or may not have seen it, but there is MGS: The Legacy Collection for PS3. It includes all of Hideo Kojima's MGS's (not the bullshit Snake's Revenge that people think is the sequel to the original MG). I am really contemplating picking it up. I feel sort of embarassed that I didn't hear about it earlier.

Harder? You're joking, right? It's a breeze, and tagging enemies and being able to track them anywhere on the map makes everything 100 times easier. Plop a tablet next to you with the MGS map app installed and keep track of everything.

Being able to call a heli to where ever you are, having it blow up jerks, and then fly away and everyone goes back to normal like this crazy american base wasn't just assaulted by a missile wielding helicopter was laughable.

Far, far, far better than Peace Walker (which was terrible), but the story is still the same garbage. It will never stack up to Snake Eater (which had way more stealth involved) or Sons of Liberty.

The first three Solids were all awesome games. IIRC they didn't use Hayter for 5, not sure it'll be the same without his ridiculous gruff snake voice.

This is true. Snake sounds... weird.... Very disappointing they they didn't use him.

Kiefer Sutherland provided the voice of Snake for MGS5. I'm pretty alright with it, he's one of my favorite actors.
