    Got "the dent" today

So friday I had some batteries I got from work in the trunk, went around a turn and heard a thud, thought nothing of it because I still have the carpeting in the interior quater panel area.

Fast forward to when I go to load some trash in the trunk and the sun catches the side of the car where I see the stretch marks in the paint. There they are, two nickel sized inverted dents on the quarter, I am so pissed right now....FUCK...some one please post some pics with their dents so I don't feel so bad...

    Thanks,

    RYan

i have like 8 similar to TJ's, a dent above the pass side rear wheel, in the pass side door, a slightly off front bumper from sister backing into me, a classic dent in the front of that driver side fender by the grills, a dent now in my hood and chipped paint right there

So that can happen from cargo shifting around in the trunk, even with the carpeting?

                    Sure can.

I have it on the pass side.

HA! I also have the "classic" dent near the grille on the fender as you stated above, howver mine has been "repaired" by a body man at my old job. The thing that pissed me off the most was my quarter panels as well as my doors and trunk lid were just about flawless, and now this...

                          Thanks for the picture TJ...

(funny thing is I was just on here a couple of days ago thinking, "wow I must be the only guy on r3v without "the dent")

I've never heard of "the dent", and none of my cars have it...

Luckily I'm not currently driving my car, or I'd go out and get "the dent" either today or tomorrow :P
