Not enough space for OE subaru turbo bits. Requires front mount and different up/down pipes, so you're better off going a full custom setup. Injection system is being a pita to tune apparently as well.
Two heads that face the wrong way puts me off. Not sure there will ever be a price range low enough that I'd consider buying one or any subaru for that matter.

I'd probably do an engine swap on one too. Sr20 probably would be my ideal motor. Keep it light, 4 cylinder, and probably easier to wrench on on the side of the road
SR20 would be cool, but I'd want to keep it in the family, a 1JZ would be pretty fun.
I drove my neighbors the other day and I found it terribly boring. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I wasn't impressed at all. I think it could be the fact it was an auto trans, the steering was decent and when trying to get it sideways I wasn't liking it (maybe auto trans again) I think just the lack of power really killed it.

Dude this is r3v. 20 bucks gets you a used timing belt or a low mileage head gasket
They use 215/45R17 Michelins. I believe they're Primacy Sports? I had to order one a few weeks back. I work at Subaru but I've never driven one. They don't seem to sell all that well. I think the only two I can remember seeing in here were ones with aftermarket turbo kits getting random warrantee work done.
I hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

I've heard the exact opposite. There was a local guy with a turbo brz, and he was apparently running stock injectors. He said that with direct and port injection it was flexible enough to get ~300 wheel with 91 and water/meth.
I drove in it and it definitely pinned you in your seat.

Usually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30
I had a codrive in one at an autox last season when my car needed a wheel bearing. It was completely stock other than some 225 ZII's replacing the stock tires. Overall it was a fun car, definitely tail happy. I liked the throttle response and shifting, though I wasn't crazy about the steering. It was direct and intuitive, but compared to my e30 it was very light and not as connected as I would have liked. That said, I was out to flog it, and that's probably better for a daily driver.
