    Which Truck?

I need to buy a small truck soon (like the Ford Ranger size).

I know that I want a 4 banger (fuel efficiency), prefer bench seat up-front, and 180+cm bed length.
    And I don't need a 4wd either.

    So any suggestions?

Looks like my picks are limited to Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, and Madza BXXX, any help would be cool'

My dad just bought a 4 cyl Tacoma Pre-Runner (2wd with 4x4 suspension). It's badass... way better than a ranger.

Toyota Tacoma. Toyota reliability and toughness with good looks. If I ever buy a truck, it will only be either a Toyota or a Nissan.

Me too, especially up here, toyotas are everywhere for a reason. Relaible, tough, practicle, bombproof. For those who have seen the Top Gear episode, one of the best.

mazada b series is pretty much a ranger from what i know. Everyone seems to say toyota but is really worth the extra $$ they command on the market? ( around hear diff if a few thousand)

So i guess it all depends on how much your going to be using the truck, what your going to be doing an so on. I drive a 98 explorer with 160k miles on it and i havnt had any issues in the year i've owned it. A ranger is where my money would go...

mazda b is the same as ford ranger

on or off road, the toy is top out of those choices. nissan frontiers feel horribly underpowered, tacoma's are very punchy.

for a small gas truck, i'd say tacoma
                    full size gas nissan titan

Tacoma. Before the bimmer I had one and, despite the fact that i beat it like a step-child and neglected it like a bastard child, it ran like a champ the day I sold it.

Just watch for rust, the steel they used on the bodies is shit. Beyond that youd be hard pressed to kill it.

Rangers are pieces of shit, I wouldn't recommend one.

I would recommend a ford ranger (4cyl 2wd) to anyone, they are cheap to maintain, cheap to fix, cheap to buy and you can find a decent one almost anywhere. Just my two cents...
