    Ah, pretty cool setup/story! I'm pretty sure that wouldn't get into SVRA due to the various non-original parts on it, but I bet it's a blast to drive! Speaking of Group 8, we take care of a couple of those front runners. ;D It's a really competitive group to be sure.

                Ohhhh how I want one of these. I wish I could find someone to trade my e36 M with for one.

                    Congrats on the pickup, looks like a great base! the 2002 isn't an "e10" though. That moniker has just become popular in the last couple years amongst the new crowd.

                          Dang rough crowd you 2002 lot are! my mistake, I've seen people referring to the 2002 as an e10 so assumed it followed suite with other BMW naming.

                          also I apologize, I know its not a 3-series but it was my impression the BMW Neue Klasse was considered the forefather of BMW's sports sedan history and thus lead to them producing the 3-series, appears my facts are wrong and I've still got some more history to learn.

                              The 2002 isn't Neue Klasse either, but the Neue Klasse BMWs certainly were the beginning of all BMW sport sedans .
