The RCMP Mountie cartoon was the last post I saw, I didn't think it was particularly insulting, although maybe inappropriate given the tragedy of the situation. Perhaps something more offensive was posted after?

I recall the thread on sales prices some month or so ago was also deleted. I thought there was good information in that thread, although it seemed some members want that information concealed for their benefit. I'd like to know what happened to that thread, too. I sent an email to James regarding it but got no response.

I believe that, albeit it did take longer than anticipated to track down the suspect he was apprehended in exemplary fashion.

I'm proud to call myself Canadian, and proud that my country can lead by example by concluding this manhunt with no further injuries/death.

The RCMP and other agencies involved showed remarkable restraint and professionalism. It's a stark contrast to the Christopher Dorner/LAPD manhunt where at least 8 LAPD officers violated policy and where a truck carrying newspapers was shot to pieces.

I pay money on the regular to keep this site the way it is, as it's been an endless resource of information, and sometimes entertainment.
