We live in a gated community/golf club in Mexico we never lock the door and have accidentally left the garage door open all day with no thefts.
In Clovis (near Fresno) we went away for the weekend with the garage door open (don't take for granted the opener works when you leave & press) and came home to no adverse affects.

I had that with my Tundra's bed I really did not appreciate it when it was used as a garbage can, I would have been even less amused if it had happened to the cabrio.

I am paranoid about my car in West Palm. West Palm is either fucking rich or really fucking poor. I think its a matter of time till my car is broken into, and I am surprised it hasn't already. For such a rich city it can be pretty shitty.Comment

We're still considering where we are going. Right now my 325i is going to Kendall (south Miami). It'll stay at a friend's house until I move out.
