I agree. The stuff that was on Spike(what whatever it was before that) back in the day wasn't too bad. Albeit a bit cheesy, it was decent. I enjoyed Monster Garage only because of the interesting fabrication work. I liked Junkyard Wars, if you can call it a "car" show, for the same reason.

The first season of Setup was decent. while that show was airing, Steena was at HPDE I did. She was testing a neon SRT… She's pretty cool chick.
