True. People that have anything worth owning know what they're selling for and that makes the people with beaters believe they are worth the same.

Lots of $4,500 beaters out there!!! I've had 2 notes on both my e30's in the past couple weeks

Mine's been sitting in the garage for the past 2 months, but I have gotten quite a few compliments on the E32. "Don't see many of those around!" or "Wow, that's clean what year is it?"

Next year when I visit my mother I'll have my sand rail shipped so I can really enjoy the terrian. The cost of renting an orv plus security deposit is really high. They want $1000 security deposit plus you have to sign a book of waivers. I looked into shipping cost for next year and it will be around $1600 round trip.

Here is my rail, these were taken a few days before we left.

Way to talk it up;). I think it'll be cool to meet another forum member from across the country. I've only ever met one other member from r3vlimited. Oh by the way, I like cold beer if you got any laying around.
We are still good for later today, I'll call you after 5:00.

              Lol, that's the E32...not for sale. :)

I probably don't have a bunch of time to shoot the shit though. Wife is on my ass to help out getting ready for my kid's 2nd birthday party on Saturday. I'm glad to show you around the car and keep you from falling into the pile of random shit in my garage.

Since you have hit up the tourist hot spots I'd also suggest:

                Places/Events:

                - As Mazur said - Canyon Lake --- Tortilla Flats
                - Lake Pleasant
                - Phoenix Zoo
                - Ever been paintballing? There are a few fields/indoor places
                - Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright's home, is now a school for architecture)
                - Depending on your musical taste, we have a few venues that are worth checking their schedule. For example, 311 is at a local casino's pool this Sunday
                - Tempe Improv and StandUp Live - owned by the same company now - nationally known comedians are there often
                - If you hike Camelback Mountain, bring lots of water, and don't be on the local news the next day

                Food:

We have a good mix of different types of food, you must try some different things. Use yelp to make sure the place has good reviews, then dive in.

                - Like a few other states - eat In N' Out, at least once
                - Enjoy a sunset dinner/drink at Different Point of View (great restaurant with a great view)
                - Oregano's Pizza - family owned local chain, eat at the closest one, my fav local pizza (and I've tried a lot), get the cookie/ice cream dessert

AzCentral has decent lists, old article but they have them for each weekend too:

                Another list: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio...x_Arizona.html

                Spooky places list: http://theshadowlands.net/places/arizona.htm

+1 on Oreganos Pizza. Fantastic place to eat.

Also, mini R3V meet would be kinda cool.

Prescott is a beautiful place this time of year, just be aware of the traffic. It gets worse than Phoenix. Coming up the back way through 89A will reward you with one of the best twisty sections in the state. Bills grill there has some of the best burgers I have ever eaten.

Jerome is a must, if even for the culture. Old mining town/tourist attraction.

Speaking of burgers, we stopped and ate at Smash Burger in Tempe before going to Kiwanis wave pool. Really tasty home style burger with garlic olive oil fries.

Haven't tried Smash Burger yet, seen them around though. Make sure you hit up In N Out before you go, they have a not so hidden menu on their website with more stuff than the basic menu in store.

Has anyone been to the relocated Rawhide. The reviews seems to favor the old Scotsdale location. Also is this type of event not good this time of year with the blazing heat?

I don't know if it was that great when it was in Scottsdale. I think it's one of those attractions which only kids can appreciate.

So many r3vers in Phoenix! I had no idea, although every time I see an e30 I wonder if they use r3v. May have to organize a r3v meetup here sometime!
