    Just one step closer to lasers!

    My whole life, I was promised laser guns. Star Wars, G.I. Joe, and every other cartoon since the 80's. Well, this isn't laser guns, but we're getting there...FORCE FIELDS!!!

            My understanding is its less magic and more of a rapid response device deployed on ships to protect against anit-ship cruise missiles.

            A very fast gun and a very accurate radar system. You can even see the projectile in the video.

                I am sure it will be as big of a flop as the Bradley fighting vehicle. After it is installed on any vehicle, I am sure it will work for about 15 min., then the warranty will be up, and it will fall apart.

                      In case you didn't realize, the dept of defense has also tested truck mounted lasers for defense against missles, etc.

                        Sweet as hell. I just hope its quick enough, and the bubble is a little bigger. The concusion can still liqua'fy your insides, and take a couple limbs.
