I think my mazda is indestructible
Just tonight I was driving around looking for a good movie to rent. As im going I thought it felt like my brake pedal was really, well crappy. I was just driving the m3 alot which has no pedal travel so I didnt think too much of it, just kinda weird hopping from one car to another.
So I go a little bit longer until I realise this definatly isnt right. The pedal starts engauging the brakes when its about 1/4 inch off the floor. About that time the empty light comes on so I pull over to a gas station to check it out. I popped open the fluid tank cover and, its bone dry. So I fill it up and go on my way.
Which made me think about all the hell this car has gone though.
First on the tragedy list, (which made me think to check my fluid) I ran the clutch fluid out until the tank was bone dry. At the time I pulled into the auto store the clutch was sticking to the floor. Filled it up, worked with no problems, still ran fine.
Next I hit a curb at 45 mph because the window wipers broke and got stuck infront of my face, the lanes changed over and I couldnt see the road. I bent a rim and popped a tire. No problem, went to the salvage yard got a rim and tire for $15, put it on, still ran fine.
That winter was real fun. I just had a terrible day in a big snow storm. I ran up onto a curb going too fast around a curve and ripped off half of the splitter. Oh well I never fixed that one. It still ran fine
Later that night going around another curve (after all the roads were plowed, salted, and it stopped snowing) I saw tracks over the curb in the curve. So I go really slow trying to figure out how people hit that. Well it was a nice sheet of black ice. Hit it at 15 maybe and it sent me into this big curb which proceeded to bend my already rusted out frame. Some guy pulled me out and the car still ran fine.
A week or two ago I was driving all zoned out thinking really hard about something. I deer popped out and I hit it going 60ish. I skid to a stop after I hit it and looked at the car. Just put 2 big ol' dents in my hood. Didnt really break anything. Oh well, still ran fine.
About a week ago I was driving with brant when it was raining. We were just going through some big puddles because it was fun. I saw a truck cut this corner really sharp where there was this big puddle. So I follow him. I guess it was about a 2 foot by 2 foot pot hole. I think this is when my windshield cracked, but im not sure. I have about a 16 inch crack in the windshield now. But it still runs fine.
I dont think I can break this car.
