Its funny how when someone mentions illegal immigration. Its automatically all Mexicans. No Salvadoreans, No Indians (from India), No Vietnemese, No Koreans. That shows it has nothing to do with enforcing the law, but all to do with whos breaking it and if their names end in strange letters. I can guarantee you that if half of Canada was immigrating here, legally or not. There wouldnt be half of the stink there is now. I strongly doubt anyone would know more on this topic on this board than I at this time because I move amongst the food and garment industry due to my job. It also doesnt help when we subsiduze the living shit out of our farming industry thereofore putting all of Central and South America in a bad spot because it renders their farming industries uncompetitive. Also helping those people to want to seek other opportunities elsewhere. Americans take such fucking pride in saying this is the land of oppourtinuty then bitch when people want to pursue said opportunity. As long as theyre who we want to get these opportunities, then its all gravy. I dont agree with people breaking the law, and yes they are here illegally, but hating people and not thinking of produtcive, feasable solutions doesnt help anything. What do you expect, for them to sit around waiting for a visa while they starve? Weve got what is quickly falling from the best country in the world, we have to deal with all the aspects of that. The good AND the bad. Not just shut out people we dont particularly like for our own ignorant reasons. I hate it when people bring this type of topic up because 95% of people talk out of ignorance and hatred, rarely out of true knowledge. Its easy to blame the people who cant defend themselves. Start fining some of these huge Corporations that in-the-interests of draining an extra dime, hire all these people for less than minimum wage. Youll see how the influx will stop real quick.

Americans will not accept a job they are too "proud" to do. It used to be that Brick masons were respected and paid high wages. If you think that ethnics are the reason wages are down you are sadly mistaken. The american dream is gone! That's it. Average wages/ saleries for the blue collar worker are bullshit. People with necessary jobs get paid $9 an hour. I was making that in highschool. It isn't migrants or illegal aliens causing this. As clean said corperations trying to make a buck.

I used to be into all that Brown Pride bullshit in High School. LIttle did I know where all that teen angst was being misplaced. I did learn a lot though. I figured prejudice on all sides is wrong. I grew up and started thinking of things with different perspectives not JUST white or JUST bornw or whetever. All this shit is usually the result of money issues. People cant think on that level because it robs them of their fuel to hate. On a large scale issue like this there are always MANY complex reasons to consider. Just buildingh a wall wont do shit. My comments are usually in jest. Most of my friends are beaners, coon, gooks (is that how its spelled), spics (there is a difference), injuns (both push and pull to start), and I even throw in a few crackers as to not appear racist.

The reason meicans are targeted is they are the largest influx (currently) of illegal immigration due to our pourous border. The comment about what our reaction would be to an influx of Canadians is irrelevant since there wouldnt be such a migration. Another reason Mexicans seem to be tagged in this particular debate is probably because people are going around waving bigass mexican flags. Its not about their race, its about the fact that these people are not americans and have not obeyed standing laws. Therefore they are fugitives and those who harbor them are criminals. That is the intent of the new ledgislation.

Me, Im an american. My family legally emigrated from Ireland 150 years ago. My ex, she is an american. Her family was kidnapped from Africa god knows when. My best friend, he is an american. His family legally emigrated from Cuba 64 years ago. My roommate, he is an american. His parents legally emigrated from India 23 years ago. My roommates girlfriend. She actually is mexican. Her parents and she legally emigrated from from Mexico 12 years ago, they have become nautralized citizens while she has yet to take the exams and such. Her parents are americans and she is a resident alien.

The difference between the people I just listed and those these new laws effect is that the former are law abiding, tax paying, members of the community with a loyalty to their neighbours, community, and country.

One more thing. Illegals pay taxes, and put into Social Security of which they will never collect. Rightly so, but I just wanted to mention that they pay taxes. We do their 940 and 941 forms all day. I print their checks and they all put into State and Federal Withholding. ;) There are MANY who love this country. The only ones that are usually filmed by the media are the ones with their flag out.
