Help me decide, should I call this member out or what????

I have a problem. Yes I should have known better..... I bought some small items from a member on the for sale part of this forum. I have done this twice before and everything went great. But this time I feel like I am being taken for a ride. I paypalled the member, it went through, and it's been a month now. I still haven't received my purchase. Not to mention, this seller will not reply to my PMs and tread questions/posts. What should I do? I haven't dealt with this before!
    Yours truly,
    Rich

            Just do it.

I don't understand the point of protecting people that pull shady stuff.

First I'd check the transaction info and see if their phone number is there. If so call, if not post them as a bad seller and let them clear up the tragic circumstances that caused a month to pass without the courtesy of contact.

                  That's BS!

I will probably never see a set of springs or the $80 I sent to sack of puss and scum Mike Fisher. He hasn't had any money in his PayPal account since November 2005. One word - both barrels! Whatever!

I will disagree with this. The transaction was through the two of you; it should stay that way.

I will say that I am one of those people who have some issues in getting things shipped in a professional and timely manner. I am both busy and forgetful, but neither are an excuse. I am also a hypocrite, and expect better shipping service than I give. I suggest you get all over the guys ass, post negative feedback, look in the phone book for his number and address, call, write, whatever.

I think a month is more than adequate for him to make resolutions.

                    Good luck!

thanks guys! the only other way to get in touch with him is aim, but he isn't on it. I may contact a moderator through the site and explain the situation. maybe they can get in touch with him through his personal info?

You shouldnt have waited over a month. I dont care if someone makes an honest mix up like StereoInstaller1 said, I have done the same thing from time to time, just get busy. But if this happens to me I recall my paypal money saying I never got the goods. If the guy decides to ship it out then I have no problem sending payment again.

This is one reason why I almost never do business on roadfly, I bet 80% of the people there are scammers. I have never once had a problem with anyone on r3v or bfc, including the guy who bought my s14, that was some trust! He sent me a personal check for $1600 with absoultly no gaurentee that I would even ship the engine. Lucky for him I did though :)

Claim it with PayPal. You have 45 days to do so from the date the payment was sent.

Be carefull what you assume......I had almost the same problem with e-bay....I won of course, sent out a money order, money order cashed and a month had passed and still nothing.....Come to find out the guy was killed a day after the money order was cashed.....So i guess his family went ahead and sent the item about a month later......I had reperted him to ebay, I was pissed off, and he was dead.......So always keep those kind of things in your mind also..........

                              Call his ass out.

If he's got a legit excuse, he'll have a chance to explain- if not, he'll get reamed and try to make a bunch of BS excuses.

I hate scammers and BS artists. It's really not that hard to make a deal work if you want to make it work (as a seller).
