No pics, but my worst was trying to get the pitman arm off a dodge ram dually with a regular 2 jaw puller, like this:

I'm cranking the hell out of the center bolt of the puller but the arm ain't budging. Eventually the puller gets cocked off center and jams up the center bolt so I can't tighten any more or back it off. So I've gotta just yank the puller off by hand with it loaded up. I'm working on my back underneath this thing the whole time, now I've got a stuck puller on a stuck pitman arm. I start doing a push-pull on the end of the puller but it's fucking ON there, barely moving side to side. On one tug it finally goes, and I mean GOES, smacked myself right in the mouth with it.

Thought I split my lip at first, but it was lower than that and felt different. I can feel an indent with the tip of my tongue from the backside, go and look in the mirror and I can see it splitting open when I push with my tongue. The skin had just busted all the way through where it got pinched between the puller and my lower teeth. About 1/4" wide.

Stitches? Nah. I cleaned it out as much as I could stand and dabbed some super glue on there till it finally stuck back together. Well, I didn't actually have any super glue on hand, I had to go to the store while holding my chin together with some paper towels.

Anyway, it healed up fine! There's a barely visible scar, pretty well disguised by the indent above my chin.

I've never had any bad injuries. I always try and be careful when working with unforgiving objects like a cars.

Flap disk came apart and caught the edge of some plate I was cleaning. Ripped it out of my hands punched me in the face. I've been using grinders for years and never been caught off guard like I have a respect/fear now every time I pick it up. Safety equipment can't help if you don't wear it.

I don't have a physical gory wound from this, but a few weeks ago, I had to drop my front suspension to check a few things. As I was tightening all the nuts on the control arms and tie rods back down, I slipped off the ratchet and punched the CAB bushing lollipop with my right hand, smashing my thumb between the 2 knuckles. I thought I broke it, which I must not have, but it still hurts like hell a few weeks later.

The guy who smashed his finger off and the other guy who cut his face open, you win.

                    You definitely win.

The first picture got me! Must say I haven't lost as much blood as you guys on theses e30's yet but they have killed a few brain cell's by all the force I try to use. But in the end you come back and enjoy all the work you did!

This one was kind of from a really really big car with steel tires....

In a rush and smacked my noggin off a steel door frame. Lucky I didn't knock myself out and swan dive onto gravel/tracks 8 feet below.

Early on in my career as a mechanic one of the licensed guys caught me whimpering and sopping up blood and said "It's funny, the more experienced you get the less you get nicked and bruised."
I started obsessively counting wounds at the end of every week and by Golly, darned if he wasn't right! 25/week dropped to 10/week and about 15 years later I went through an entire week without a single nick.
I didn't count callouses, though a good set of callouses prevents a lot of minor blemishes, and near misses didn't count if no blood.

Said technician must have never worked on a bmw.
Those guys intentionally sharpen every corner to knife like sharpness. Don't even get me started on instrument carriers razor sharp isn't an adequate description.

It's not as gnarly as some of your injuries, but it did leave me permanently (mildly) disfigured. I was torquing hardware onto a VW type 4 motor when the allen socket snapped at around 100 ft/lbs, and I ended up punching the corner of the block. The impact broke the first knuckle and cut the ligament on my pinky.

After going to a specialist to set the bones properly, but still having a torn ligament, I am unable to fully straighten my pinky under it's own muscles.

                              Held straight:

                              It's natural state:
