    Rarity drives the desire here.

And the r3v in x10e6 and paying x3 is very true, very funny.

I'd rather the community gather enough interest to convince BMW to keep producing some of the NLA parts that are making restoration projects difficult.

So would I. When I was working at the dealer a couple years ago, BMW said they would start making them again through their Classic program...only issue is that I don't know if they ever did it or not (I left the dealer before it took off). It would be pretty cool to get some brand new parts instead of used junk.

My buddy Max says he has a few sets sitting around. Says they are in storage at this arena thing called Thunderdome. Sort of a rough part of town from what I understand. Lots of heavily modded cars there.

Louvers only look good on Saab 900s, Escort EXPs, and the backs of fat chicks.

                    Good point.

BTW, they really aren't much good for anything. I had a set on an E30 but I left them on the shelf after the car returned from paint shop. Well, that car's gone now. With the louvers.

i dont really think they look good on a e30. the body lines are too high and upright, not enough of a slope on the rear window.

maybe if it looked like this
