Daily Poll: Correlation between spicy food and beer preference

So my friends and I came up with a theory that applies to our little group.

We determined that people who enjoy spicy food are drawn towards more bitter beers.

As for myself, I really like spicy food and I really like IPA's. My friend Tyler isn't too big on spicy foods and he prefers Stouts and Porters.

What about you losers?

Love spicy foods. Prefer a good Hef or Kolsch.

I love spicy food, even though my body hates me for it.

I hate hoppy beer, and dislike bitter beer.

I guess I tend to go for browns and reds. My current favorite is a Belgian style abbey ale, which is labelled as "Medium bitterness" but I don't find it bitter at all.

Yeah the Belgians know their beers, there's some really good Belgian ales out there.

I'm alright on spicy food. Not a fan of IPAs or stouts, but I won't outright refuse them.

And I destroy anything spicy. Like some spicy fried chicken damn I'll take two pounds.

I love spicy foods but hate IPAs and bitter beers. The only pale ale I've like was Superfuzz, a blood orange pale.

I like some Stouts, but usually go for a Kölsch, Brown ale, or a Belgian, like blue moon.

like northern I have a penchant for spicy food though the last 1/3 of my large intestine and containment valve have other opinions about it, normally resulting in a case of "sting ring" that lasts several days.

Beers what more can I say than I love beers as well, I like IPA and hoppy beer just fine I tend to lean more towards the Ambers and Very dark brews a little more often.
