Actually, the opposite if anything. My leg growth was stunted due to an obsolete procedure to straighten my legs as a baby, otherwise I would have been 6'+ like the rest of my family. I prefer a close steering wheel though and have a Euro manual rack, and my previous car had buttloads of legroom, so my perception may be skewed.
I'm probably skewed in the opposite direction as my first car had so little legroom there wasn't even space for a dead pedal. ;D

6'3". Last e30 I had to mount my fixed backs strait to the floor so I could fit my helmet with out bending my neck. I dont know how you 6'5"-6'6" guys do it. The 2002s are even worse with head room.

As tall as I am (6'1") I drive relatively up-right and close up to the wheel. I can't have my legs extended so much that I lose the bend in the knee - it just feels awkward.
I seat myself nearly in the "track position" and it's most comfortable for me.
