When i had my e30, i was 5'11" at about 170 lbs, and was pencil thin. Now i'm in a fiesta st (recaro seat option is very similar to the original sport seats in my old 318is) and am 6"0 220 lbs (weightlifting so my waist is only a few inches bigger).
Still fit reasonably well in my little ST and my friend's e30.
