You do know that Mac's now have Intel processors don't you Josh? Just because it's x86 doesn't make it a PC, it's still a Mac.

Just because its X86, PCIe, and SATA doesnt make it a computer does it?

LOLERZ! I made a funny. Time for another bong hit.

This last week we just got a new 64 bit sun system with dual AMD bussless processerizers and a potato chip computer. Im gonna go jack off now!

The only thing apple is doing that is unique is marketing to morons and stoners. Oh wait, Dell did that too!

apple caters to simpletons who can't use a real computer. some things are made easier like they would be for a 5 year old. possibly some stoners are dumb enough to need that

i'll live with my windows in which i can do more shit i find useful. i'm intelligent enough to use a fucking computer, so why buy one "dumbed down" for hippies and women?

as far as the classic virus comments.... being proud about that is like not having a STD because no one wants to fuck you. if a virus brought down all the Macs, no one would hear about it besides at Starbucks the girls who can't get on iChat and around the bong by people like Holmes. PCs are in the corporate world, many households, so it's actually a target.

hell, i'd find some code monkey at Purdue to write one just to say there is one.

You'd be hard-pressed, seeing as any executable script needs root permission to edit system files in unix.

So unlike Windows, the operating system can't be tricked, only the brainless idiot using the computer (upon entering his user password of course.)

BSD > GNU/Linux, therefore Mac OS wins.

This coming from the guy who's sunk more money in PC's than in his car...

People also didn't believe man could achieve flight. Encourage Mr. Singh and hopefully he'll come up with something creative.

I would be willing to bet that many of you have never even touched a Mac. I used PC's for 10 years, in fact I still use my PC occasionally. My Mac may not be able to run many of the pointless programs that my PC can, but I much prefer the ease of use and lack of problems associated with it.

Dont get me wrong, Macs are great. I like to use them, I just don't have one. Mainly because they're rather expensive. But I like them, and like I said before, Macs and PC's are suited for different tasks.

you are also a lazy stoner fuck who can't get into a real college...

i want to smack the apple swivel screen when its the only free computer in the lab at school because its such a fucking pain to use... like driving an automatic because real standard shift is too complex for the driver to handle

I've used an apple probably before you were able to do 3 times 3. Also, our IBM was green-screen and ran in DOS. Since back in the day, I've also liked the freedom and control of Windows/PC over the "ease" of being walked like a fucking toddler by an Apple.

Ease of use and lack of problems... Funny how limiting the amount of things something can do has a direct impact on how well it performs. Little goes wrong on macs because less can go wrong I suppose. Its finding that balance between "robustness", performance, and reliability thats key. Unfortunately, the Mac doesnt win in that contest.
