I just watched Collateral about four times last week (adding to the three times previous) and I still think it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. I've yet to see Heat but I will get around to it in the next few weeks. If Michael Mann could make Tom Cruise into a believable actor than I'm sure he can do the same for Colin Ferrel...

Really? Believable? I didn't like collateral too much, but I can't stan J Fox or T Cruise. Just my opinion the movie was kinda lame. Story line and cinematography were no where near the caliber of Heat. The actors were no where near the Caliber as well. I think Heat is as good as it is because of the actors' abilities to play dark characters. And I have no clue who is in Miami Vice BTW. But everyone is raving about it, so who is in it????

You haven't seen it? Oh I think you will watch it a couple more times than collateral!

I am so unbelievably stokked for this movie. Those of you who have seen Heat know what im talking about.

I wonder if the transporter will be in it?

In any case, I have faith that Mann can take less that great actors and make great movies. Collateral is a perfect example. Check out Last of the Mohicans and Manhunter while you're at it, both solid flicks.

I don't like that it's not set in the 80s still, but it has a chance of being decent.

Ghey, if you are going to do Miami Vice it has to be all the way. Leasure suits and palm trees set in the 80s.

This modern version of old movies is bullshit. Poseidon? Ghey with shitty actors. No fucking originality anymore.
