Top gear was inconsistent in quality at best these days anyway.

I wouldn't be too concerned about Jeremy's future. With his earned popularity, there will be other networks who would love to sign him up, if not already. It's all about the ratings and money making.

Chris is good but he doesn't bash on cars, including exotics, as much as Jeremy, imo.

Sucks that it had to end this way although I do agree the show was on a steady decline over the years. Oisin Tymon or whatever his name is, is now unfortunately a very hated person and while it sucks I really don't feel all that bad for him. I mean how slow do you have to be in order to get punched by Clarkson? He doesn't seem like he would be quick by any standards. Then again Oisin probably took the punch as a proverbial screw you for all the verbal abuse he had gotten over the years with the hope it might get the orangutan fired. Lo and behold it did, well played Tymon and may your days be filled with enraged former top gear fans cursing you at the top of their lungs.

I'm actually surprised that some people thought he wouldn't get fired. There's no way an entity as large as the BBC could set the precedent that it was acceptable to assault a coworker.

That said, it was time for Top Gear as it has been to die. It had its run but has been on the decline, and it didn't seem as if the hosts were as into it as they once were. It would have been nice to finish out the season, but oh well.

Something to keep everyone busy... And it'll be like he's narrating it in your head.
I've read a few of them.

I love Jeremy but he acts like a child pretty frequently. Punching a coworker because princess didn't get her warm meal is just embarrassing. Give me his job. As long as I get to drive amazing cars in amazing places you don't even have to feed me

I'm enjoying the schadenfreude of watching idiots like you cry about this as if any network would put up with idiot tv stars assaulting people over goddamned dinner not being served.

Just an ignorant statement to say all around. It is these beliefs that make the world worse overall
