I'm a substitute teacher and work in security. Sucks working two jobs, but it's a necessity when sub teaching is on-call and you're out work 3-4 months a year.

Trying to get into either the RCMP or the Canadian military.

I work for a local micro-brewery. It is hands down the best job I have ever worked, and I have worked a lot of different industries. The hours can be long but it is definitely worth it.

VW tech at the moment, I like it, great crew of guys I work with, and the dealer is only 4 years old so its very modern, were one of the only shops with A/C, so its great. It has its bad days like any job, and I prob wont do it forever. Most likely ill branch off into either somewhere higher up in the VW corp ladder (Porsche or Lambo maybe? ) or do something along the lines of what Exodus_2pt0 is doing wrenching on trains

Ive been a operating engineer on ships for the last 3 years. Ive worked for several companies delivering to ports around the world. Most of the ships are between 200-300m in length.

I am a therapist, like the one you sit in a chair and talk to about how life sucks. I have been working in various jails for the last 5+ years. I loved the job when I started out. At that time I was working in private practice at an agency. A lot has happened since then, and I find myself dreaming of doing almost anything else. Often want to return to auto mechanic, or open a small private shop and change oil.

i work for hertz equipment rental. i wrench and turn stuff so it can go back on rent and fix a lot of customer fuckups. planning on keeping this job long enough to buy a house and then i want to try to get into working on badass cars or something. money is killer for a 21 year old with no certifications or anything so i'm doing fine for now. i just hate all of the homophobic racist rednecks that i work with. having nothing in common with the people i work with sucks more than i would have guessed.

I handle wood for a living.

I mean, I bundle wood for a summer job. It's a lot like giving wood to a stranger, just with a lot more splinters.

See this shit is killer, something about working on huge engines intrigues me, I think thats why I'm so interested in Exodus_2pt0's job.

How do you like it? Good money in it? And how did you go about getting into it/how difficult was it for you to get involved?
