    Hitchbot DEAD *tear*

    Canadian project.
A robot that traveled the globe via hitchhiking.

It traveled coast to coast in Canada with no issues.

    Same goes for Germany.

A few days in the USA. And it's mutilated and left beyond repair.

    yay America.

It might have survived if it weren't made out of pool noodles and a 5 gallon bucket.

Right. These items just spontaneously and simultaneously failed... only happened to be in Philly.

Exactly! Obviously it wasn't an American's fault. It was clearly purely poor engineering and lack of oversight.

If it was made in America it would have never fallen apart

And if someone tried to vandalize the American version then I'm sure that it would of given the vandals a whole bunch of 2nd amendment

Aw! That's saddening, but it's pretty cool how far it's traveled.

I lol'ed, in a sort of sad way. Sad because I am 100% not surprised.

                So......was this robot a.......pleasure model?

The link isn't working for me, but if it had made it to my city I would have run it over and scrapped it for beer money.
