In regards to the second vid posted:

It seems the good folks in Dubai have really taken to this drifting business. First there was that video with all the insane car drifting with people hanging out the windows and whatnot.....now they're doing it on bicycles.

I suppose when all the roads have a thin layer of sand on them anything is possible.
