Are you guys blind or something? There were three speed bumps right on the exit of that corner. Both of his driver side tires poped. I mean, come on r3v, it's a blessing he didn't slide it into a crub. After all, Porsche and volswagen are pretty much the same thing.

He is a self made man and I respect that. Showed up here from England with some clothing and a few bucks and made him self into what he is now. Gota give him some props for that.
Do I think he dresses funny and drives a little to crazy on public roads? Yes.
But Ill reserve judgment on him until I meet him face to face.

Funny thing is he is a driving instructor as track days and autox.

Looks like they chopped the roof line and grafted one on. The door has been replaced and the decals remade and aged. The patina is perfect if you didn't know you couldn't tell. It is the original car though not a reshell. The car was literally painted 30 so hours ago, and right now it's totally road worthy and ready. We did the glass work.

Also i guess I have to rephrase my opinion of him. I dont mind him, in some videos he seems like a douche, in others he seems like a really cool guy. I dont know it its just that he comes off more lame when doing businessy stuff or what.

Is it a new shell repainted, or the same one? That thing was pretty crooked, the whole windshield / roof shape was shoved sideways.

I was at the morning meetup in Malibu (and the only E30 there) and on the first leg of the trip, but I busted my subframe mount and my day was over.



It was also where I saw Magnus almost crash into a group of cyclists on PCH and also passing cars in the opposite lane around blind turns. Its one thing if your some dumbass kid on r3v, but when everyone knows who you are you should probably carry yourself a little better. I complained about it on the Petrolicious

Ive met with a few times, and he wasnt really as bad as a LOT of people in LA are as far as being a douche, but he did have this persona of "Im better than you" so that combined with his reckless driving lead me to post this to see if Im the only one whos felt this way.

I really don't think r3v is the right place to be all moral about speeds or driving behavior. Some of the videos ppl post on the r3v facebook page are much more dangerous, like turbo builds going full retard on public roads. And I don't see people condescending them in the replies.

r3v facebook is full of idiots. I dont even bother going there...

I just like the cars, I don't know him personally so I simply don't entertain anything else, maybe I don't know what 'douchey' behavior is.

He seems like the Porsche version of a wealthy hipster bike builder who builds the oh so fad friendly cafe racer for other wealthy hipsters, but he never seemed douchey to me. Maybe arrogant. I don't dislike the cars he builds, they're no RUFs or Singers but I don't find them lame or garish like some of the stuff Akira Nakai builds, and I'm not even a purist.
