    Hmm what would be my chances?..

    If I came across someone with one of these (un-modded) who wanted to "play" how confident/intimidated should i be. (and no, i dont do allota of shit on pulic roads& traffic)



    Who this question be answered differently for a) freeway scenario
    b) twisties
    c) from a dead stop

    I think it would win from a dead stop through the gears. Tey are pretty fast.

      How much diff are the type-r's than the si's? You would beat an si for sure if you are a decent driver.

        well for over here they seem to have the same specifications to the American ones..

        200bhp / 196Nm tq which is like 139lb-ft tq. <--Europe

        197bhp & 139<- Europe

                  the EP si on the other hand, you may have a chance at keeping up with in the (uphill) twisties. But that's straight up your extra two cylinders at work.

                    i was under the impression that these were slower than the previous gen si. I think they weigh a fair amount more too, but then i dont know my hondas all that well...

                          Type-r is an Si hatch. I have seen some magazines dipping these things below the manufacturers numbers. The m20 doesnt really do much against those v-tec stunnas.
