The 10D is a great camera. Just needs a little bit of a magic touch.

You should buy a Canon 50mm F1.8 from bhphoto.com..its $70 and one of the best lenses out there.

so i've heard. the nifty fifty? its on my list of future purchases, i have a lot of learning to do with what i have. i need a fast lens though, so soon. i just got the camera and grip today, the thing is unbelieveable, i messed around with it for like half an hour and im already very impressed. i cant wait to read the manual and learn all the features i dont know about yet.

Heh, Dan said he'll take a driveway shot or two tomorrow. Its still not really "pic-worthy"- I need to get the rear suspension in, install a lip and give it a good detail.

first impressions.... camera is very sweet. the feel and button layout will take some getting used to, but i already dig it. didnt have much time to mess around with it, but i have the feeling im really gonna enjoy it.
