And subsequently put them into a tree, instantly making even diving boards look better.

I can't wait until all this vehicular nonsense I'm dealing with is stable and I can get some pics of my 86 up to show you how to "pull off" early bumpers.

I love the bigger late bumpers too... but if you compare these cars to the Mk2 VWs, both early and late bumpers can look good if matched with the right wheels, stance, and other choice mods.
i'd really like to see that. even without tucking it?

It is like wearing a pink shirt, you gotta be a real man to be comfortable with yourself and pull it off. Plastic bumpers are for the lemmings...;)
uh, I think you have to be eigther in highschool or gay to wear pink shirts...REALLY GAY FAD!!

plastic bumpers look WAYYYYYY better IMO..

It is easy to fall in love with a old piece of crap ugly car if you do work yourself and she is good to you, on the otherhand plenty of people have new fast beautiful cars and have absolutely no emotional attachment to them.

diving board cars tend to have more character in my experience.

I want to see the pictures of the hot DB cars

I think Josh was able to get his car looking killer with diving boards. It's a shame that he decided to switch to plastics.
