Seems like I've seen you post IH8 mud stuff a few times - you got a Cruiser too? I'm LINUS over there too - I have a '97 80 series. Black/Grey. Doing e-locks the hard way after I finish my motor swap here.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
Yup. The roads here were not nice to the cabby. Plus a new baby due was the end of a 15 year love affair with the cab.
I have an unlocked 96, I just successfully completed the CDL & 7 pin mod ftw! lol
It was an excellent idea as there are speedbumps everywhere and I can basically ignore them as opposed to with the cab I had to almost stop. Also now there is room for all six members of my family and their stuff.
I have a 98 Suburban that cramped holds 7 and very little room for things with the third row in (plus my Brother in Law kind of absorbed it).
I love Toyota and would have brought my Tundra back but it is a longbed regular cab.

Cool - So has C-Dan had to send you any "care packages" yet?
As a member of the '1fz-fe headgasket club' I can say there is nobody worth dealing with besides him.
CDL and pin 7 are worthwhile for other things too - we have a sandy boat launch up here and I drop it in 4 hi when pulling out with the boat on the trailer. I'll post a pic of mine.
Dan sent me a passenger mirror, the rubber part between the air cleaner and intake, a few switches etc, he was great! I had an arb & sliders stolen (I think by the bodyshop) They claimed from them, when I had it painted. I am waiting for them to pay me back for them. I am not holding my breath.
I used to have a tacoma and I couldnt kill that fucking thing. I tried so very, very, hard.
I used to own an '89 standard cab 4x4 pick-up w/ V6 and 5 speed. Had for about 7 years and put 130K miles on it (I bought it with 80K miles on the clock). Despite my best efforts, I couldn't break it. Worst mechanical failure I experienced was a dead battery. Thinking about it reminds me of the diesel Hilux J. Clarkson tried to kill on Top Gear.
