Japanese imports?

I've seen his advertisement pop up on my news feed from time to time. The cars seems pretty reasonably priced for legalized imports. They don't seem to last very long once they become available. I've always wanted a proper Datsun/Nissan.

Ironically Japanese Classics is where my dad's 325ix Touring came from.... well kind of. They handled all the paper work and legal stuff when it was getting imported, but another company physically handled the car. I wouldn't think twice about buying from them.

They seem very reasonable. If only I had the money to start it I'd happily set up the same thing for European market cars.

The prices for seem very reasonable, considering a lot of those are lower mileage, unmodified examples.

A friend of mine semi-recently bought an r32 gts-4 coupe with 70k or so, and paid more than they are asking for some of their r32's.

they are on FB also. A lot of what i see seems clean and stock for a fair price. I consider buying a lot of their cars, pipe dreas for me i guess

place seems legit and really cool, those prices are super reasonable, even if you bought something that isnt a GTR/can get here like a N/A Silvia or a Miata, your still getting a Jap spec right hand drive vehicle, pretty neat.

I'd love a right hand drive NSX, or an older 70s Skyline, RX3 or something

If you did some research on your own (regarding importing) youd be able to save a couple grand a import a car yourself.

R32 GTST are going for $12k on there when realistically they cost $5k in japan and shipping can cost $1k to $2k.

yeah, that's sorta how retail works, dude. it's a convenience fee for not having to import shit from asia and deal with the jackoffs at customs yourself. you've paid that tax on your phone and your laptop.

Yeah and if you dont cross a t or dot an i. 10 years from now the Feds can and have confiscated imported units, that have been rolling around with state legal titles and tags on them for years in some cases. Yes Confiscated with out compensation and destroyed, the Defenders and the R33/32's are the quick ones that come to mind, and near prohibition on getting a yota diesel into the country for a reasonable sum of money, even in parts. You had better have your paper work to get factory parts for it form toyota here.

That is why you pay good reputable importer to handle the paper work for you, and like the story above that can even go awry

My dad paid for the full price of the car (purchase price, taxes, shipping import fees, ect) sign a couple of papers and in about a month or two it was hand delivered in his driveway. Yes he "overpaid" for a 325ix touring, but considering he didn't lift a finger I think he got a deal.

Their bike prices seem a little high, I didn't pay that much when I lived over there for my Yamaha 250, but my 500 two stroke was 5 grand and it was a 91 and that was in 95.

I don't mind paying a premium. I'd much rather fly out to a U.S. state and test drive and inspect a vehicle vs. buying blind from God only knows who from over seas with hopes that I receive a good vehicle on faith alone. I just don't have that much faith in anyone.
