I have XM in two cars, and really like it (Opie & Anthony > Stern). No reception problems except when under canopies at gas stations and etc. Fees are reasonable. Old-timey radio was mentioned previously (The Shadow, etc.) and XM has it too. Also online availability, better units for portable (outside the car) use, etc. You can get XM or Sirius hidden add-ons that function through your aftermarket head unit. In fact, a lot of the units out there that are stamped "Sirius Ready" can be used with XM as well, at least according to the info on Crutchfield's website.
