              Yeah. The addiction levels in OR, WA, and CA were over 10x that of anything west of the Rockies before it even became known in the east/south.
              Oregon made pseudoephedrine a prescription drug a few years ago and the addiction problem here has plummeted. Case study for the rest of the nation???

                thanks for sharing that; again never would have assumed that. And while I'm skeptic of cure drugs, do it and case study as we go!

                  That is interesting and makes plenty of sense. When I lived in VA it was kept behind the counter and you had to show ID and could only buy a certain amount in a month. Of course the problem of meth still remained.

                    Yeah there still is a big Meth problem here too, and the state did a big run of adds against meth a few years ago, still see some them on tv and have even seen a couple run in other states out east.

                            Yea, I forget the details - but....then I guess the big drug dealers got together and found they could order it in raw/bulk form from some manufacture overseas - they did that for a while before they closed that loop hole.

                            There's a good documentry on the meth problem - I want to say it's "American Meth" or something.
