    I've gone VAG

Well, 4 kids now, shifting priorities, etc...I bought a GTI and will be selling the E30. I'm gonna miss that car. The tail-dragger is fun though.

It does hold the kids, and my wife likes driving it with the DSG. We have 100 series LC and '91 Volvo wagon for full family hauling. Wife is a hard pass on minivan.

Best kind of wives. Mine has a Chevy Express conversion until I get the e39 540i 6 speed on the road for her to commute in....she despises mini vans.

But I will say congrats on the (slightly) smaller wheels!
They almost look out of place on a GTI (thought I was looking at a regular Golf).
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Looks like a decent choice for zipping around town in traffic getting to swimming lessons and band practice and so on, at least you have a Hundy to get you where you need to go with out issues when the VAG is inevitability in the shop for its 14th window regulator and electronic gremlin that keeps popping up unless its at the dealer ;)

I kid, I kid, but seriously at least you have a Cruiser........

Really new cars are fun congrats

Thanks. The car's a blast...maintenance and repairs horrify me. The effing cruiser is great on the highway, unflappable for mild offroad duty, doesn't use or leak oil, and has 235k on it!

IIRC, 17's are the smallest wheel you can fit over your calipers.
